Streamlining Your Podcast Workflow: Strategies and Insights from Podcast Producer Jamie Kennedy.

Are you a podcaster struggling to stay on top of your workflow? 😅

Look no further!

In this episode of Podcasting 101 with RSS.Com, host Ashley Grant sits down with Executive Podcast Producer Jamie Kennedy, the founder and CEO of Brave Moon Podcasts, to discuss strategies for staying organized in the ever-growing world of podcasting.

Jamie starts off by emphasizing the importance of understanding the current state of the podcast market.

"It's a really exciting time to be in podcasting because it's still very unsaturated," Jamie says. "There's a lot of room for growth and a lot of opportunities for new voices to be heard."

But with growth comes challenges, and one of the biggest challenges podcasters face is "podfading," the phenomenon where a podcast loses steam and eventually stops releasing new episodes.

Jamie stresses the importance of having a clear plan and a consistent workflow to avoid falling into this trap. "It's all about being intentional and strategic with your content," Jamie explains.

One tool Jamie recommends for staying organized is Trello, a project management software that allows you to visually organize and prioritize tasks.

"Trello is a game changer," Jamie says. "It helps me stay on top of all of my to-dos and makes sure I'm not missing anything important."

In addition to Trello, Jamie also recommends setting clear goals and regularly reviewing and adjusting your workflow. "You have to be willing to adapt and make changes as you go along," Jamie says. "It's all about finding what works for you and sticking with it."

Other tips Jamie shared on the show are:

  • "It's important to set goals and measure your progress against them."

  • "You need to be consistent, but you also need to be flexible."

  • "Be intentional about your content and make sure it aligns with your overall goals and mission for the podcast."

Overall, Jamie emphasizes the importance of staying organized and being intentional in your approach to podcasting.

By implementing tools like Trello and regularly reviewing and adjusting your workflow, you can set yourself up for success in the ever-growing world of podcasting.

Happy podcasting.
